About the project

Located in the heart of Soho, 141 Wardour Street is an eight-storey commercial office building constructed in 1931.

Originally built as offices and film production facilities for Warner Bros, the building was occupied by the studio until the early 1980s, after which it was fully converted into an office space.

Having been partially stripped out by the previous owner, the client required a full Technical Due Diligence inspection to understand the condition of the retained structure and fabric prior to proceeding with a significant refurbishment.

At the client’s request, PBC presented its TDD findings to the full project team as a briefing ahead of RIBA Stages 1 and 2.
