PBC was appointed by CLS Holdings PLC as Project Manager and Employer’s Agent for a major office refurbishment and residential scheme in the City at Clifford’s Inn.

Formerly an Inn of Chancery, today Clifford’s Inn is an office and residential block. During a major refurbishment, PBC’s Building Consultancy Team provided Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters consultancy, including mitigation in the context of over 50 adjoining owners.

PBC Scope

The development consists of the replacement of the front façade, structural alterations and extension of the office space by infilling two rear courtyards, and the refurbishment of existing office space on three floors to provide 28,000 sq. ft of new CAT A office accommodation.  Eight new City apartments are being constructed on the first and second floors – a mixture of studio, one and two bedroom units.  PBC are also providing Party Wall advice for the building owner.
