About the project

Deanston Wharf is a residential-led, mixed-use development by Ballymore Group located in the Royal Docks area of East London, within the London Borough of Newham. Positioned along a curve of the River Thames, the scheme forms the final phase of the wider Royal Wharf masterplan and sits between Royal Wharf and the historic Lyle Park.

 

Our Role

PBC were appointed to act as the Landlord’s Surveyor to oversee and manage the tenant-fit outs to all the commercial and retail units at Deanston Wharf.

We reviewed and collated all base-build design information and guidance required for tenants to complete their fit-outs, advising the developer on shell and core design, particularly regarding incoming services before undertaking 3D Matterport scanning of the completed landlord works to form an accurate record of condition prior to fit-out.

Throughout each tenant’s design development, we liaised closely to review proposals and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, ultimately issuing recommendations to the landlord on whether to proceed with a Licence to Alter, advising on applicable conditions and approving documents to be appended, and subsequently monitoring the fit-out works to ensure compliance with the approved documentation.
